Lesson Cancellations and Refunds
We understand that life happens and plans change. To keep the business running smoothly and ensure all students have a fair chance at booking slots, we operate a strict cancellation policy.
Standard Notice Period
We require a minimum of 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a driving lesson without penalty.
If you cancel with more than 48 hours' notice, any prepaid fees can be transferred to your next booked slot or refunded upon request.
Everyone is entitled to 1 'free cancellation' please use it wisely. Any future cancellations within 48 hrs will be charged at full price.
Late Cancellations
If you cancel within the 48 hour window, we will try to fill your slot. If we cannot fill it, the full lesson price will apply unless you have requested to use your one off free cancellations slot.
No-Shows
If the instructor arrives at the agreed pickup location and you are not there, they will wait for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the lesson will be abandoned, and the full lesson fee is payable.
Illness and Emergencies
If you wake up genuinely ill on the day of your lesson, please inform us immediately. While the 48 hour full-charge policy technically applies to cover lost income, management may waive or reduce the fee for genuine emergencies at their sole discretion.
If you have a contagious illness (like severe flu or a stomach bug), please do not attend your lesson as it is also dangerous to drive when physically unfit. Sitting in a confined car makes it highly likely the instructor will catch it, resulting in cancelled lessons for everyone else.
Instructor Cancellations
If the instructor needs to cancel your lesson due to mechanical breakdown, illness, or severe weather, you will be offered an alternative date or a full refund for that specific lesson.
