I’m Louise, a fully qualified driving instructor who originally trained and qualified in mainland Scotland. Over the past few years I’ve had the privilege of helping learners progress from their first lesson through to confidently driving at full road speeds and eventually onto the motorway. Seeing students reach that point is where all the hard work truly comes together.
This experience has prepared me well for the upcoming Graduated Driver Licensing (GDL) programme being introduced in Northern Ireland in October 2026. These Law changes are very important to be aware of before starting your driving journey. I have summarised the key points here.
